Where the biggest decision of your day is which deck to watch the sunset from.
Two and a half acres of secluded island life in the Caribbean archipelago of Bocas del Toro. We are a satellite island off the larger Isla Solarte, positioned directly on the local route to some of the best surf in the Caribbean. The chef is here to make picky teenagers and food-allergic adults equally happy. The dock is twenty steps from the door, with a captain on site twenty-four seven.
When was the last time a vacation actually relaxed you, instead of stressing you out?
As a busy dad, I almost always dreaded vacations. I had to work extra hard for two weeks before I left to clear my calendar, just to have two weeks of extra work when I got back to catch up. I imagine a lot of people out there can identify with this.
When I finally got "on vacation," I spent all my time herding everyone from one attraction to the next, picking restaurants by committee, splitting bills, and negotiating activities like it was a hostage release. I came home more tired than when I left.
So Liz and I bet everything we had on this island and built the experience from the ground up, so we could share it with you. Everyone in one place. Nobody planning a thing. The kind of trip you remember for the rest of your life.
What we do differently.
Our resort-trained Ama de Casa understands your group's tastes before you arrive, and proceeds to thrill everyone at the table, whether it is the eight-year-old who only eats chicken fingers or the gluten-free aunt. By the time you sit down, she knows how to make you happy.
Whether it is a trip to the best beach to watch the sunset, dancing in Bocas Town at nine, or a surf and snorkel trip at first light. Wherever you want to go, we will get you there. Being on an island means privacy on your terms, not isolation.
Bring the kids, the pets, and the in-laws. Every bedroom is air-conditioned, the pool is open at all hours, and Starlink works everywhere. Thanks to our solar farm and rainwater purification process, we have modern luxuries without being leashed to the grid.
Food and drinks are all-inclusive so you do not have to navigate foreign grocery stores or draw straws over who is doing the dishes. On top of that, you have full use of our stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and tube rides on the boat. If you want more, you only need to ask. We can make it happen.
Five-bedroom, five-bath main hacienda pool home, with a two-bedroom, two-bath waterside bungalow directly overlooking the pass.
Where it is, what it looks like, why we picked this corner of the Caribbean.
Reef snorkeling, scuba certification, surf school, cacao farms, horseback riding through Bastimentos, deep-sea fishing, freediving, spearfishing, foraging walks, a bioluminescent swim under no moon, and a day trip to the coffee plantations of Boquete.
Three meals a day, prepared by a resort-trained chef. Most ingredients come from our gardens on the property or local farms across the archipelago.
Direct flights from Panama City, eight times a day. We meet you at the airport. A private boat takes you the rest of the way.
Bring everyone. Plan nothing. Remember everything.
