Accommodations

The Houses

Two guest houses, three docks, a pool, and your own two-and-a-half-acre island.

Dia Bonito is a single-group takeover. The whole island is yours for as long as you want it. The houses sit on our little island, connected by concrete walkways that are a blessing when it rains. Together, they sleep up to twenty-six guests. Every bedroom has its own air conditioning. Starlink keeps you connected to the rest of the world that feels so delightfully far away.

The staff live in dedicated on-site housing and are always available without ever being underfoot.

The Property

The Main Hacienda

The two-story anchor of the property. Five bedrooms in total, each with a king bed. The master suite upstairs has a pull-out sofa in the living room that sleeps two. Each of the four downstairs bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom and a pull-out sofa that sleeps two.

The upstairs and downstairs covered porches are made for entertaining and gathering.

A Second Residence

The Waterfront Bungalow

A second full residence with its own kitchen and two ensuite bedrooms, each with a king bed. A pull-out sofa in the living room sleeps two. The comfortable porch is set up for watching the world and the boats go by.

Because it is set apart from the main house, the Bungalow works perfectly for the part of the group that wants its own space.

How The Island Runs

Off the grid, on your terms.

Dia Bonito is off the grid. Power comes from the sun. Water comes from the sky. The system was built to support a full house in normal use, which means a normal use of A/C, hot showers, and pool nights. The only time we ever lean on the diesel generator is during the rare stretch when nothing else cooperates. Your onboarding team will walk your group through the practicals before you arrive, so the system stays happy and your group stays comfortable.

One group at a time.

There are no other guests. There is no shared occupancy. When you book Dia Bonito, the island is yours. The team, the boats, the dock, all of it.
